In every town across the nation, there are certain places that really define the community, Stax's Original Restaurant does just that.  Opened in the early 50's as Shaw's Pharmacy, complete with a soda shop, the Stathakis family transformed it over 30 years ago to what it is today.  They've kept the original soda fountain stools and counters and haven't missed a beat since.  
       Owned and Operated by Frank, Sheila, Nicholas and Michael Stathakis, Stax's Original has a great atmosphere and a warm family feel.  In addition to the wonderfull staff, many of whom have been here over 20 years, you will always find a Stathakis family member here.
